Members agree to abide by the Bylaws, Policies, and Standing Rules of the Club as previously adopted, or as may be adopted from time-to-time. These Bylaws and Standing Rules are printed annually in the Newcomers' Club of LB/LF Membership Directory. Bylaws and Standing Rules which are adopted subsequently to the annual printing of the Membership Directory are available for inspection by contacting the Newcomers' Club Secretary. Such Bylaws and Standing rules provide that each member shall waive any claim or cause of action against the Club, its officers or persons carrying out any Club activity pursuant to the request and direction of Club Officers while such club member, officers or person are engaged in the purpose of the Club.
The club year is July 1 through June 30. Annual club dues are $60. A partial-year application, January 1 to March 31 counts as the applicant's first year of membership - the fee for a partial-year application is $30. The club offers a 10% discount to all new and renewal applications received between April 1 and June 30. New member applications processed in April and May are eligible for the 10% discount and immediate participation in club activities with their first club year commencing July 1. Helping Hands provides assistance and support to club members in crisis situations including illness or death in family, temporary physical limitations resulting from pregnancy, accident, etc. Would you be willing to help on an ad-hoc basis with meal preparation, babysitting, driving to an appointment, or other?
Welcome Neighbor is a club effort to exted a personal welcome to our first year members. Would you be willing to escort a new member to a club luncheon or activity?
