January Luncheon at Prairie Grass Café
Thursday, January 21  11:30 am - 2:00 pm
Please join us this month at Prairie Grass Café in Northbrook. One of our goals as a newcomer‟s
club is to get to know one another, and that is what we will aim to do during this luncheon. We
will use some fun and informal activities to get people talking and maybe even become acquainted with someone new.
Prairie Grass Café is powered by two chefs, both formerly of the Ritz-Carlton of Chicago. This
contemporary American cuisine focuses on utilizing local farms and sustainable agriculture. Our menu will begin with a starter of “River Valley Ranch” Mushroom Barley Soup. Your choice of entrees are: Organic Mixed Green Salad with Grilled Chicken, Apples, Walnuts, Crumbled Amish Blue Cheese and Balsamic Vinaigrette or “Tallgrass Beef” Penne Pasta tossed in a Basil-Tomato-Meat Sauce with Parmesan and Bread Crumb Topping. For dessert, we will have Homemade Double Chocolate Cake.
Coffee, tea and iced tea are included with our luncheon. There will be a cash bar for alcohol and soda. The cost for this luncheon is $34.
